Kamala Harris will sit down with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow next week in one of her first major interviews since the 2024 election.

The interview will take place Sept. 22, with Harris live on set for Maddow’s 9 p.m. ET show. This comes as the former vice president is launching a tour for her new book, 107 Days , which details what happened behind the scenes of her presidential election campaign last year.

Harris appeared on CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in July for her first post-election interview. In that appearance, she elaborated on her decision not to run for governor of California, saying “I don’t want to go back in the system. I think it’s broken,” and spoke about her upcoming book.
