Monday Night Football meant two more teams had to make decisions about honoring Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, an influential right-wing activist and a close ally of US President Donald Trump, was shot dead last Wednesday while speaking at an event at a university in Utah.

On Friday, President Trump said a suspect was in custody, telling Fox News: “I think we’ve got him.”

He also added that it was the suspect’s own father who ultimately turned him in to the police. Following that interview, Utah Governor Spencer Cox named the suspect as Tyler Robinson.

On Sunday, many NFL teams, like the Dallas Cowboys, honored Charlie Kirk with a moment of silence. A few teams chose not to.
