BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The history of history changes on an almost historical level daily as scientists and paleontologists continue to find new evidence of our origins. Ella Al-Shamahi’s series “Human,” that can be seen as part of the “NOVA” franchise on PBS, shines a light on Homo sapiens dating back 300,000 years.

The series will premiere at 9 p.m. Sept. 17 on Valley PBS and on PBS.org, and the PBS App.
