Marc Weinstock is leaving Paramount as its President of Global Marketing and Distribution. The news comes as Josh Goldstine is finaling a contract to be named in the new role. Weinstock is responsible for propelling the Skydance co-produced Top Gun: Maverick as Paramount’s highest global grossing title at $1.49 billion worldwide and Tom Cruise’s highest. Paramount had no comment.

Weinstock joined Paramount in February 2019 as President of Worldwide Marketing & Distribution and, in 2022, was elevated to oversee the studio’s unified global marketing and distribution team. He had previously been head of marketing at Megan Ellison’s Annapurna.
