YOUNGSTOWN The Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) has officially ruled that Ursuline High School students who transfer schools will not be eligible to play football in the 2025/26 school year.

This decision was announced in a letter sent to schools by the OHSAA on Tuesday, September 16, and comes after Ursuline canceled the remainder of its football season in the wake of hazing and sexual assault allegations involving its football team.

"We understand the disappointment this decision may bring to your student athletes and families, but please know this decision was not made lightly," the letter reads.
