Netflix has just announced that its highly anticipated Spanish thriller will receive a limited theatrical release ahead of its official Netflix debut this October. Titled “ She Walks in Darkness ” ( Un Fantasma En La Batalla in Spanish, which translates to “A Ghost in the Battle”), the new movie will premiere on Netflix globally on October 17 , 2025.

Being produced by J.A. Bayona (the director of Netflix’s hit movie Society of the Snow ), Netflix officially unveiled the project in April 2024 as production was getting underway in Spain and the French Basque Country.
