Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) launched Operation Midway Blitz in Chicago, Illinois, which they say is focused on the “worst of the worst” undocumented immigrants with criminal records. The agency said the operation was named in honor of Katie Abraham, a 20-year-old woman who was killed in January in a drunk driving accident involving a man in the country illegally. President Donald Trump said that Chicago is a “very dangerous place” that they could “solve very quickly” in the same way they did in Washington D.C. The President enraged residents in Chicago with his Truth social post about the operation, which was inspired by film "Apocalypse Now." Trump wrote: “I love the smell of deportations in the morning.”
