The Texas Rangers are nominating shortstop Corey Seager as their 2025 Roberto Clemente Award nominee.

The annual award recognizes an MLB player "who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions, both on and off the field."

Each MLB team nominates one player to be considered for the annual award, one of the most prestigious individual honors for MLB players, established to honor Clemente's legacy as a humanitarian. Seager, 31, will be recognized as the team's nominee during a pre-game ceremony at Globe Life Field ahead of Saturday night's game against the Miami Marlins.
