BRIDGEPORT TWP, MI — Beth Thieme has stepped down as president of Amigo Mobility after five decades with the company, though she’ll continue serving as chief executive officer on a part-time basis.
Her son, Jordan Thieme, assumed the role of president on Sept. 1, taking over day-to-day operations at the Bridgeport Township-based mobility company, according to an announcement from Amigo Mobility.
“When I stepped into the role of president in March 2020, one of my top priorities was to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition for the next generation of leadership at Amigo,” Beth Thieme said in a statement. “Choosing my 50th anniversary with the company — Aug. 29, 2025 — as the transition date gave our leadership team ample time to prepare and grow into their evolving roles.”
