Cicero, N.Y. - A fire broke out early Tuesday at the Paul deLima Coffee roasting facility in Cicero.
Around 12:20 a.m., firefighters found heavy smoke inside the facility at 8550 Pardee Road, according to Cicero Fire Chief Jim Perrin. The factory is visible from Interstate 81.
Wooden pallets near a coffee roaster were on fire, Perrin said.
It took firefighters about 15 minutes to put the fire out, he said.
No injuries were reported, and there was no damage to the factory or the machinery inside, he said.
No one was present at the factory at the time of the fire, according to a post on the company’s Facebook page. The fire did not affect operations today, the company said.
The business is the largest local distributer of coffee in Central New York. The company’s coffee is sold nat
