KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) - A 58-year-old Kaukauna man with over 40 prior convictions was sentenced to 12.5 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Richard Frohling, the Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced that John Sloan was sentenced on Monday.
Court records show that the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group's Drug Unit sent investigators to search multiple locations, including Sloan's vehicle, residence and several storage units.
Officials seized over seven pounds of methamphetamine, over $140,000 in cash, four guns and a vehicle. Sloan confessed that he had acquired meth from a supplier in California, later admitting that he distributed over 20 pounds of it in the Fox Valley.
