SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- We See You San Diego gave out close to 500 pounds of clothing last week at their new facility in Old Town. The nonprofit organization helps individuals living on the streets through addressing hunger, hygiene and clothing.
"We could really use men's pants, men's shoes, men's underwear, hoodies," says Laura Chez, founder of We See You San Diego. She goes on to say many of their guests come for the clothes and that helps them start a relationship and open up a path to help get them off of the streets.
They are encouraging anyone to drop off new or gently used clothing at the Old Town location on Tuesdays. They have also recently opened up a location in Escondido. Both locations are always looking for volunteers to host their weekly dinners.
