Malik Cunningham will get another chance to jumpstart his NFL career.

The Detroit Lions signed the wide receiver/quarterback to their practice squad on Tuesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported .

Cunningham spent the entire 2024 season with the Baltimore Ravens on their practice squad. He never played in a regular season game and was waived by Baltimore last month ahead of the NFL’s cutdown day.

The undrafted player out of Louisville spent time with the New England Patriots in 2023 and figured to give them a spark on offense. Cunningham showcased some of his potential during the preseason when he led the Patriots to a scoring drive and showed off how he could be a dual-threat QB for New England.
