TEXARKANA, Texas. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Bowie County Master Gardeners, in partnership with Texas A&M University-Texarkana’s School of Professional Education and Community Engagement, will present “Wildflowers for the Four States Area.”

The program is free and open to the public, with no reservations required. It will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 6 p.m. in Room 326 at the University Building.

Guest speaker Jay Caddel, Tarrant County AgriLife Extension home horticulture agent, will lead the session. Caddel previously worked at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin and brings extensive knowledge of native plants and landscaping, according to a news release.

Participants will learn practical ways to incorporate wildflowers and other native species into their landscapes.
