Kevin Thomson has officially revealed for the first time that he's left his coaching role at Rangers . ‌

And while the Ibrox hero says he'll never criticise the club for not keeping him on, he's admitted some 'frustration' at the lack of communication when it ended. ‌

Former midfielder Thomson returned to the club in January to work with Stevie Smith within the academy but his contract expired in June and the new Rangers owners elected not to keep him on. ‌

That wasn't formally announced by the club and, speaking on the Scottish Football Social Club podcast , he's opened up his time coaching at Ibrox and confirmed for the first time that he has officially left.
