LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Authorities have arrested a Lexington County woman who allegedly robbed a convenience store at knifepoint on Monday.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said Katrina Nicole Diaz was charged with armed robbery, three counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

LCSD said a deputy responded to the store on Edmund Highway after receiving a call about a robbery in progress. When they arrived, they reportedly found Diaz in the store eating an ice cream bar while holding a knife.

Store employees reportedly told authorities that Diaz walked into the store and asked to use the phone twice. When she was told it didn’t work, Diaz allegedly tried to walk out with a display case of lighte
