The Mercer County Sheriff's Office in Ohio found 89-year-old Roger Stachler alive and conscious in a cornfield on Tuesday morning, after a multiagency search that included drones, local fire departments and state aviation resources.

Why It Matters

Stachler was reported missing from his home in St. Henry on Sunday. His wife told officials that when she returned home from work, she was unable to find her husband.

The Mercer County Sheriff's Office received assistance from the St. Henry Police Department, St. Henry Fire Department, Coldwater Police Department, Coldwater Fire Department, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio State Highway Patrol's aviation unit, Celina Fire Department's dive team, Southwest Mercer Fire Department, Burkettsville Fire Department and Chickasaw Fire Depart
