Resolution Seeks to Memorialize Kirk’s Legacy of Civic Engagement

In a move to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk, Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) announced a resolution today to designate October 14, 2025, as the “National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk.” The day would coincide with what would have been Kirk’s 32nd birthday.

A Tribute to a Conservative Icon

The resolution, co-sponsored by Congressman Jimmy Patronis (R-FL) in the House of Representatives, seeks to memorialize Kirk, who was killed on September 10, 2025, in an act of political violence.
