NORTHFIELD, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Norwich University announced Tuesday that its homecoming football game this weekend will feature a rare flyover by a B-2 Spirit, a heavy stealth bomber plane that featured prominently in the Kosovo War in the 1990s. Only 21 B-2s in total were ever built, and all of those now in service are based at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.

Norwich University, the "birthplace of ROTC," is the only senior military college outside the Southern U.S. They are playing Maine Maritime Academy in their first home game of the season on Saturday, September 20.

The flyover is expected to happen at about 2:00 p.m., along with the playing of the National Anthem just before kickoff at Sabine Field.
