The force used by Green Bay police officers to arrest a man June 12 at Bay Beach Amusement Park was justified and within policy, according to the Green Bay Police Department.

The arrest was filmed by several bystanders and posted to social media, garnering scrutiny from the community over how officers handled the arrest. The man who was arrested was later charged in Brown County with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer.
