Great British Bake Off star supported by fans after sharing health condition

A participant on The Great British Bake Off has opened up about her health condition and shared the story behind her hair loss.

Jasmine, one of the nine remaining bakers vying for a handshake from Paul Hollywood and hoping to impress Dame Prue Leith , faced three tasks for bread week in tonight's episode (Tuesday 16 September).

For the finale, she opted to craft a Swedish cinnamon and cardamom sweet bread, dubbing it a "Midsummer Flower Crown".

As she braided the dough, she quipped: "Ironic that I'm plaiting as I have no hair to plait myself."
