If you enjoy artists who use absurdity to make their point, then the latest exhibit at the Kelowna Art Gallery is for you.
“Seriously? Comedy and Satire in Canadian Art 1970s–Now” features works from 22 artists who found funny ways to interpret Canadian culture and politics.
It’s an exhibit that instills much different etiquette at the art gallery.
Gallery curator Christine May says some of the artwork is simply funny, while other works are thought-provoking and can offer political commentary.
