One football rivalry is renewed this week, while another one will be retired after Friday’s game.

Virginia High (4-0) hosts Tennessee High (1-3) in what will be the first V-T Game since 2019 , while Grundy and Twin Valley will clash for the final time on the gridiron.

The series between VHS and THS dates back to 1911 and this will be the 111th meeting between the Bristol schools according to research done by Bluefield historian Rick Baker of www.fourseasonsfootball.com .
