Calgary Chamber of Commerce released 50 policy recommendations for city council and mayoral candidates
Heading into next month’s municipal election, Calgary businesses say their priorities for the next city council revolve around safety, core services and housing, according to the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.
On Tuesday, the chamber unveiled its 2025 Municipal Election Platform outlining 50 policy recommendations for city council and mayoral candidates. The proposals are built around four themes — competitiveness, safety, vibrancy and connectivity — priorities the chamber says reflect the concerns of the city’s business community and Calgarians.

“The challenges we face today are very real, and the cracks are starting to show,” said chamber president and CEO Deborah Y
