ORANEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man in a fatal apartment complex shooting last week.

Quentin Williams Jr., 21, of Orangeburg, is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Deputies responded to the shooting on Presidential Drive around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 6.

The affidavit stated that Williams fatally shot 28-year-old Cameron Ryuant in the back in the Roosevelt Gardens Apartment Complex.

Sheriff spokesman Richard Walker said deputies were able to locate Williams as the suspect after they saw multiple videos from surveillance cameras after a joint effort with the U.S. Marshals Service.
