CROWN POINT — Prosecutors filed charges against a second individual who was allegedly involved in an attempted robbery that led to shots fired at a 19-year-old man in Hobart.

Marquis Bonaparte, 17, of Hobart, was charged Sept. 5 with murder, murder in perpetration of a robbery and robbery in the July 8 death of Tristan Tomak-Trevino, according to Lake Criminal Court records. Tomak-Trevino was pronounced dead at the scene, while another 18-year-old man who was shot in the head was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
