CLEVELAND (WJW) - The Cleveland fire chief has been taken off the job one day after the FOX 8 I-Team revealed a social media post tied to the murder of Charlie Kirk.

Tuesday, the mayor placed Fire Chief Anthony Luke on paid leave pending an investigation.

The next time Cleveland firefighters race to a call, they won't do it under the direction of Luke.

He's been placed on leave during an internal review into a social media cartoon reposted following the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The repost included an image of an assault rifle and a message to bring out the next sacrifice.
