COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Two people are dead after a shooting at a car wash in College Station, according to the College Station Police Department.

College Station Police said dispatch received multiple calls about gunshots in the area of Longmire Drive and Deacon Drive just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Police determined that the incident happened at Wings Carwash & Washateria. Witnesses reportedly told police that a man and woman were lying unresponsive in a bay of the car wash.

College Station Police patrol officers, a Texas Highway Patrol Trooper and personnel from the College Station Fire Department arrived to the scene soon after the call, police said.

On the scene, police said they found two people who had been shot. Both people died at the scene, according to police.
