Maine (WABI) - There are some new opportunities for those looking to further their education.

The University of Maine System says they have added six new online degree programs.

University of Maine Presque Isle is adding a Master of Arts in American Studies and an Associate of Arts in Human Services.

They are also adding both an Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.

UMPI and University of Maine at Augusta will offer a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science.

UMaine Fort Kent is adding a Master of Science in Homeland Security.
