The Pennsylvania Turnpike announced an extension of a Harrisburg area ramp closure into the overnight hours of Tuesday, Sept. 16.
The northbound on-ramp from the Harrisburg East Interchange to the section of Interstate 283 leading to Eisenhower Boulevard will be closed from 7 p.m. on Tuesday until 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
“Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the work without impacting traffic this morning. Therefore, our operations will continue into tonight,” Marissa Orbanek, Pennsylvania Turnpike press secretary, said.
