Owen softball middle infielder Mia Roland announced her commitment to South Carolina on Sept. 16.

"I am truly thankful and thrilled to share my decision to pursue my athletic and academic journey at the University of South Carolina," Roland said via Instagram.

She is ranked No. 71 overall in the nation and the No. 21 middle fielder in the Class of 2027 by Softball America.
