SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – The Spokane Valley City Council is set to address local issues with a public hearing and a policy discussion scheduled for Tuesday night.
A public hearing will focus on the Spokane Regional Emergency Communications (SREC) tower. The council has already passed an emergency ordinance allowing the construction of a 120-foot communications tower by temporarily changing rules on building height restrictions. This ordinance permits SREC to exceed the current 80-foot limit. Residents will have the opportunity to share their thoughts during the hearing.
