1Three DC teens arrested in Metro station robbery after summer attack

Washington, DC – A June robbery outside a busy Metro station has led to the arrest of three 14-year-old boys, months after a confrontation over stolen headphones escalated into a violent struggle in Northeast DC.

The incident unfolded on Tuesday, June 17, at around 6:50 p.m. as a man exited the Brookland Metro Station in the 900 block of Bunker Hill Road NE. A suspect grabbed the man’s headphones and ran. The victim pursued the suspect, who handed the stolen item to another accomplice before fleeing.
