The Vikings added quarterback depth by agreeing to terms with Desmond Ridder on Tuesday afternoon. A source confirmed the deal to the Pioneer Press.
The move was made after J.J. McCarthy suffered a high ankle injury in Sunday’s loss to Atlanta, which is expected to sideline him for the near future. The plan is still for veteran quarterback Carson Wentz to start against the Bengals.
