LOGANVILLE, Ga. — A 19-year-old was arrested after allegedly vandalizing a business sign in Loganville that had memorialized slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Loganville Police said on Tuesday .

The day before, the Walton County Sheriff's Office posted about the vandalization of the sign at Tire Dock. A message stating "In loving memory of Charlie Kirk" had been spraypainted over with the words "Racist Sybau," referencing a profane acronym .

Loganville PD said a Snellville teen, Megan Bucheger, was taken into custody. It's not clear what Bucheger's charges will include.

"Hate has no place in our community," Loganville Chief Dick Lowry said on Facebook.
