A social media post regarding the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk made from the “compromised” account of a Wyoming Valley West School District administrator is under investigation, according to school officials.
In a Facebook message posted on Sunday, the district said, “A social media account belonging to one of our professional employees was compromised. Unauthorized posts containing sensitive political commentary were shared.”
The matter was being investigated and the account was being secured, the district said.
The administrator did not immediately respond to a Tuesday afternoon email request for comment.
