ASCENSION PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A man has been arrested after allegedly accessing home surveillance cameras to watch a woman for months, deputies said.

According to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, the man, Mihn Ngo, 33, of Morgan City, is facing charges of video voyeurism, computer tampering, and stalking.

Authorities said that Ngo was an employee with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office but was terminated at the time of his arrest on Tuesday, September 16.

The investigation began on Thursday, September 11, after an Ascension Parish resident reported that Ngo had allegedly accessed her home surveillance cameras and watched her inside her home, deputies said.
