The Golden State Warriors remain in a standstill with restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga as training camp nears.

Warriors Have Made New Offer to Jonathan Kuminga

As the two sides continue to search for common ground on a new deal, NBA insider Jake Fischer provided some more insight into the talks on a Bleacher Report live stream.

Since the Warriors haven't yet offered a deal Kuminga wants, there's a chance the four-year forward accepts the qualifying offer. If he were to take the qualifying offer, he would have a no-trade clause, meaning the Warriors would have no power over his future. If Kuminga doesn't want to be traded, he could remain with Golden State and leave for nothing next offseason.
