TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - It’s been three months since funding cuts to the Pima Council on Aging forced numerous senior nutrition programs to be suspended.
One of the organizations impacted the most in southern Arizona was Catholic Community Services , which had to suspend congregate meal programs at six locations.
A decision was made due to the expiration of COVID-era funding and cuts at the state level to PCOA. It was a decision, officials said, they didn’t take lightly.
