LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Las Vegas Metro police released video Tuesday of a sitting Nevada state senator's arrest one day after the 8 News Now Investigators first reported the lawmaker's pending DUI charge.
Metro police arrested State Sen. Edgar Flores, 39, on Friday morning around 3 a.m. near the intersection of Lamb and Lake Mead boulevards on suspicion of DUI. Flores told police he drank a 24-ounce beer earlier that night, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained.
The department released the video on Tuesday following a records request from the 8 News Now Investigators.
In the video, a police officer attempts to wake Flores, who later steps out of his vehicle and undergoes field sobriety tests.
