The Justice Institute of BC’s newest class of primary care paramedic students is only three weeks into training, but the heavy lifting has already begun.

Inside the new John Horgan Campus in Langford, students are hoisting rescue dummies, running simulations, and preparing for careers that will put them on the frontlines of life-and-death emergencies.

“What you see behind you is primary care paramedic students involved in their classroom preparation,” said Michael Kennedy, dean of the School of Health, Justice and Public Safety.
