The Montana State golfer began her junior season with a runner-up performance at a tournament in New Mexico and then mastered the fickle notion of golf momentum by clearing the field by five strokes over two days this week at Bozeman’s Riverside Country Club. Spurred by a school record 62 in Monday’s opening round of the Yellowstone Intercollegiate, Heinz earned top honors for the first time as a college player.
