Shortstop Bo Bichette, who was the team's hottest hitter in the month of August, sprained his left knee in a Sept. 6 collision with New York Yankees catcher Austin Wells. The initial hope was that he could avoid an injured list stint, but he went on the 10-day IL last Tuesday, retroactive to Sept. 7.
