Chicopee Collector: Sanghvi, Peret to move forward in November municipal election

CHICOPEE — Two candidates will vie to become Chicopee’s next c ity collector .

Rajesh “Raj” Sanghvi, longtime businessman, led Tuesday’s preliminary election with 795 votes, or 37.5%. In second was Sandra Ann Peret, nurse and longtime School Committee member, with 771 votes, or 36.3%, according to official results from the City Clerk’s Office.
