The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose six-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $4.719, its highest amount since June 4.

The average price is 4.3 cents more than one week ago, 24 cents more than one month ago and 11 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.774 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose a half-cent to $4.711, its highest amount since May 27. It has increased 26 of the last 27 days, rising 26.9 cents. The Orange County average price is 6.1 cents more than one week ago, 27.1 cents more than one month ago and 17.6 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.747 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.
