Surrey's two largest arts centres will be busy with Christmas shows and concerts this fall and winter.

The Celtic Tenors will kick off a cross-Canada holiday tour at Bell Performing Arts Centre on Nov. 27, promising "a mesmerizing celebration of Celtic culture and the joyous spirit of Christmas, leaving audiences uplifted and inspired."

The trio – founding member Matthew "Gilly” Gilsenan with Daryl Simpson and George Hutton — will sing "the best of Celtic tradition with exhilarating classics, powerful a cappella moments, and popular contemporary songs," according to a Sept. 15 tour announcement from publicist Eric Alper.
