MADISON, Wis. --- Founded in 1962, the Madison Pen and Mike Club began as a gathering place where media members, coaches, and players could convene before the advent of press conferences and social media took over that role.

Over the years, the organization has evolved into what is now known as the Madison Sports Hall of Fame. Despite changes in the industry, the group continues to meet weekly, dedicating themselves to promoting all kinds of sports in Madison and discussing the most important topics affecting the community.

On Tuesday, the Madison Sports Hall of Fame had the pleasure of welcoming our Sports Director, Andrew Bandstra, as a guest speaker. Bandstra described the opportunity as a change of roles.
