The Lobero Theatre will host Hope Lives Here, a benefit evening in support of Good Samaritan Shelter, a nonprofit organization with a Santa Maria campus that serves vulnerable populations across the Central Coast.

The event aims to raise awareness and support for the shelter’s programs addressing homelessness, substance use and mental health.

The evening will feature the premiere of Hope Lives Here: Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness, a short documentary from Meg Ryan’s Empowered docuseries for PBS. The film highlights the growing challenge of homelessness in Santa Barbara County and showcases Good Samaritan Shelter’s impact in helping individuals find stability and hope.
