OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Two officers were hurt after a police chase ended in a PIT maneuver in southwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday evening.

Oklahoma City Police say the chase started after a traffic stop near Southwest 44th and Walker. When an officer located drugs in the car, the suspect drove away.

Oklahoma City Police officers pulled off to block him at the I-240 Service Road and Santa Fe, and the suspect hit two police units in a head-on collision.

Two officers were hurt, and one was transported to a nearby hospital.

The suspect was hurt but not transported. The suspect, an adult male, was taken into custody.
