That was the Freddy Peralta the Milwaukee Brewers want to see: a no-frills, nothing-wasted, dominant pitcher with a well-located fastball bordering on untouchable and big breaking stuff playing off it.
Over six one-run innings during a 9-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Sept. 16, Peralta looked as in-control on the mound as he has in some time, even more so than during nearly all of his 30-inning scoreless streak that just recently came to an end his last time out.
